+Jerome Henry​​ it's quite arrogant what their CEO has been saying. Without Android there would be no cyanogenmod. Without all the people putting in their time for free it wouldn't have gotten so big. Without people who are informed, they wouldn't have the installs and different devices supported due to carrier and oem bloat.

I for one used to love teamdouche back when I had my heroc. Thing was laggy as hell with sense on top of eclair. So I went to google and found out about custom roms, installed CM and it was like a different phone and I was happy. A few more devices (free with contract) with roms based on cm and core Android and I was happy. Flash forward to a year ago and I was sick of owning phones that were EOL after just a year or even less so I saved up to buy my nexus 5. I love me some stock Android.

Only reason I rooted and rommed this beast was to get a taste of lollipop without dealing with the bugs galore in the unfinished preview.

So what I'm trying to say us that they need to eat some humble pie and realize that they will never take Android from Google. Without shoddy oem software they wouldn't exist IMO. It started at adding and customizing features and making the core OS better. Now they have taken all the credit for the work and continue to expect free work while they rake in the cash.

So. Android is Linux based.
Android is Google Branded.
Cyanogen is Android based by Google.

Change some code. Change some looks. Make it yours and then sell it.

Wth.. I always love cusrom with AOSP based & hate cusrom with CM based (lags & bugs are their friend.. LoL)

I might try android again if it had no Google relation. Google is the worst part of Android.

+Nicholas Mrak very true and the funny part is Google is a giant compared to cyanogen.. Some of us didn't even know what cyonogen did or was for that matter but you have to admit they got balls but being greedy only gets you so far

These guys do more talking than anyone I know. I havent seen anything yet. Saw you ditch a company in its early product cycle stages, made a deal with micro$hit to take android from google....and now I guess you want community support?? You get no respect from me, and the already crowded o.s. industry is looking right past you. You guys used to be so useful and humble. I was greatful, but I dont see you that way anymore. Arrogant pricks!!!!
